Its a blustery day

Wow are the winds blowing! Makes for alot of sneezing and always can tell when its going to be santa anas at work. The kids are just wild and loud and it causes build-up of ear wax big time.We always hate when the winds come.Nothing much else going on. Just been trying to clean and get some things done around here. Keep Chris in your prayers while he is undergoing the needle biopsy of his lymph node in his throat.Ask God's healing hands on him so their is nothing wrong. Also Corky got a phone call from his middle daughter of previous marriage. Has not heard from them in 15 years or so. Their choice.His youngest from that marriage and her son of 5 years old are going thru chemo and blood transfusions for the 2nd time for hodgkins and luekemia. Lift them up in prayer and ask for God's healing hands on them.God Bless your day.

Fall.....

It is way cooler this morning.I just love that. Work has been going ok. Have some really hard days but don't we all. Corky has been keeping busy at work. Hopefully the place doesn't close down. Business is so slow just like everywhere. The motorcycle ministry is planning a bike run to Solvang. I am trying to decide whether to ride along. I or rather my lower end does not do well after about an hour into the ride so I do not go along very much. Wished I could find a butt helper thing to sit on. Haha. God Bless your day.

Ready For Fall

It was way cooler...but the heat came back.The wind was blowing today.Reminded me of the Winnie the Pooh movies. Except it wasn't blustery out.Work has been ok. Our lunch count is way lower so far. They said because their are way less kids enrolled. So we are keeping our fingers crossed we don't lose hours.Not much else going on.God Bless.

Back to Work.......

We had such a wonderful time in Williams,Arizona on the train ride to the Grand Canyon. So relaxing and beautiful to see.Then we hitched a ride on the plane to Idaho and seen a friend we have always called mom. She is 84 and not doing to good. Was wonderful to see her. In spite of the long wait between flights.Now it is back to work. The new school year starts.I was water baptised the night before we left. We have so many Blessings in our life.God Bless your Day and Always.

Is it Cooler yet?

Have been cleaning a couple of rooms at a time( the carpet that is).I finally replanted the tomato plants into the ground. They just did not do good in the pots.Of course with the heat they looked pretty sick for a week.The strawberries never even came up.Oh well I will just buy them in the store.Mom and dad made it home. Dad was sick first on the trip and then mom got sick.So they headed home. Mom sounds pretty tough. Told her it was time to see the doc.Kim and Chris are on a short trip to Laughlin.Going to watch the grandkids this week for a bit. Can't wait.Always have a blast watching them.Sat. is a car show up in the mountains. So we plan on going.As always, Love to all.

Cooler weather ..Please!!!!

At this point I am ready for cooler weather. Made it through Summer School. The day of the earthquake was traumatic for the kids at school.They were all running and screaming. Then the parents came swarming on campus to pick them up. I think they made the kids more scared.So now I have to get some things done around here before September rolls around. Looking forward to the train ride we have scheduled. Hoping the airlines don't mess with the plane tickets anymore.It was supposed to be 4 hour trip to Idaho and now is 8 hour plus trip. I guess we can checkout the airport huh.Love to all.

Humidity Stinks

I hate this humidity. Been working summer school and since it works better to serve all the kids outside, that is where we are.Almost feel like taking a hose and pouring it on your head. Been watching the grandsons here and there so Kim can have a break. Chris has been to Utah for school and she needs a break every once in awhile. He comes home today and he did very well in school. Corky got something in his eye the other day at work and he had to have the doc roto grind or something it out. Looks awful but thank goodness it is out. Mom and dad made it to Minnesota ok. Always worry about them driving so far. But dad just loves that.Corky was water baptized the other night.They are going to do another next month so I am going to be then.What a Blessing.May God bless your day.
