Back to work.....

I enjoyed my furlough days even though I didn't get paid for them. We had a wonderful trip up to mom and dad for Thanksgiving. We stopped and seen my brother on the way home. It rained some and then we had santa ana winds. Now it sounds like the el-nino is going to start. Yes ...we need rain very badly. Back to work again. Just a word of caution...if you use them bags for pan liners...make sure it can be heated up to the heat you are using. They thought they would be nice and it was greatly appreciated.. to give us pan liners to speedup the clean=up... but...now to save on money they have gotten the liners that can't stand much heat. Well like instant potato flakes so goes the liners into all the food and all over the ovens and wells and hot carts and guess who has the job of trying to get it off. It melts into hard glue and I still haven't figured out how to get it off. So most days it puts me in a bad mood. We are supposed to get another new mattress today. The first night we are just asleep and pop goes a spring. scared the beejeebers out of us. Every night there goes some more. Then the hassle of trying to get another. The lady said we have to take the mattress off and see what happens and all. even when we stood the mattress up on its side you could hear springs popping. Good grief. Here we got this good ortho mattress so it lasts a long time and what a hassle. Sure hope the new one is better. Many Blessings.

Those "helpful" liners sound like a nightmare! As does your new mattress. What kind did you get?

Tessa always liked a very firm matt. Now with all this pain she cant get comfy on her beloved matt. So she gets to sleep on our pillowtop mattress when the pain is at its worse. Past time to get her her own pillowtop matt.

We got the ortho one but not the pillow top kind. The doc recommended one. That poor girl huh. We always had a simmons and had really good luck. They brought us a new mattress yesterday. Knock on the thing it doesnt start popping away. You know I heard they make them covers for the mattress like pillowtop and so if the mattress is still good you could try that to make it more comfy for her.Lifting up Tessa in prayers.
